Temple Run is a running video game created and developed by Imangi Studios. The video game was produced, designed and programmed by Keith and Natalia who were husband and wife. The design of the video was done by Kiril Luckyanova. This video game was originally delivered for iOS machines. Later on the video game was released for Android devices and Windows Phone. This video game is endless and it is a single-player game.
Operating temple run is very simple. The operator/player commands the Guy Dangerous to look after an ancient and other valuable golden idol. During gaming as the character is running, the operators can lean the device to cause the character either to turn left or right thus enabling it to collect coins or escape being the objects that can cause obstruction. This video game consists of three different coins which represent different values. The three kind of coins include; gold, red and blue. The golden coin represents a value of one credit, the red one has a value of two credits and lastly the blue represents a value of three credits. The player uses the coins/credits to buying and upgrading power-ups and other characters.
The character has to follow a certain route. The game consists of different routes thus has corners. The operator should have to direct the character on the direction it follows by swiping a finger across the touchscreen in the preferred direction. Sometimes the character need to jump the obstacles, if that is the case then the player swipe his/her finger upwards on the touchscreen and if it has to slide under an obstacle the finger is swiped downward. Since the game is endless the player plays it up to a point where the character falls of or it end when the character is caught by crazy monkeys.
